07.1.08 - Morris Energy Group, LLC has acquired the remaining 50% interest in the Lowell Cogeneration Company on July 1, 2008. MEG acquired an initial 50% interest in the facility on January 15, 2008. The latest transaction completes the purchase of 100% of Lowell Cogen, a 29 MW gas-fired combined cycle plant located in Lowell, Massachusetts. With the recent acquisition of Lowell Cogen, the MEG portfolio includes over 700 MW of capacity located in the ISO-NE and PJM power pools.

05.1.08 - Morris Energy Group, LLC has moved into its new headquarters office in Eatontown, NJ. The office will primarily house the accounting and engineering departments while providing the company with a more suitable and convenient place to meet. All MEG mail should be directed to the new office address - 36 Corbett Way, Eatontown, NJ 07724.

03.6.08 - Morris Energy Group, LLC announced today it has completed a $100 million refinancing. Morgan Stanley was lead arranger and book runner, and GE Energy Financial Services was collateral and administrative agent. GE EFS closed on the entire loan amount, subsequently syndicating a portion to Prudential Insurance Corporation of America. Proceeds of the financing were used to pay down debt and to provide funds for plant expansion projects and working capital.

01.15.08 - Morris Energy Group, LLC announces that they have completed the acquisition of Lowell Cogeneration Facility. The plant is a 27 megawatt combined cycle dual-fuel generating facility located in Lowell, Massachusetts.

01.14.08 - MEG affiliate Yellow Pine Energy Company signs 50 megawatt power sales agreement with Georgia Power Company.

04.26.07 - Morris Energy Group, LLC announced that they have completed the acquisition of York Cogeneration Facility from the owners, Solar Turbines Incorporated. The plant is a 42 megawatt combined cycle gas-fired generation facility in York, Pennsylvania.
