Lowell Cogen

July 2008 - Morris Energy Group, LLC (MEG) acquired the remaining 50% interest in the Lowell Cogeneration Company (Lowell Cogen) on July 1, 2008. MEG acquired an initial 50% interest in the facility on January 15, 2008. The latest transaction completes the purchase of 100% of Lowell Cogen, a 29 MW gas-fired combined cycle plant located in Lowell, Massachusetts. With the recent acquisition of Lowell Cogen, the MEG portfolio includes over 700 MW of capacity located in ISO-NE and PJM.

MEG Headquarters

May 2008 - Morris Energy Group, LLC (MEG) moved into its new headquarters located in Eatontown, NJ. The office will primarily house the accounting and engineering departments while providing the company with a more suitable and convenient place to hold meetings.
